LEHI HIGH SCHOOL 2001–2002 — RESTORED PHOTO COLLECTION 121 source photographs processed. Originals remain in D:\Yearbook photos. Open index.html to browse and search the collection locally. CONTENTS full-resolution/ : 121 high-quality JPEGs at approximately the retained source resolution after cropping and geometric correction. JPEG quality 96, full color sampling. web/ : 121 viewing copies, up to 3200 pixels on the long edge. thumbnails/ : 121 catalog previews. contact-sheets/ : Seven overview sheets. extras/ : A separately cropped and straightened keepsake card from image 120. catalog.csv/json : Stable IDs, section titles, source mappings, SHA-256 hashes, dimensions and notes. before-after.jpg : Two examples of the restoration. PROCESSING 14 sideways or upside-down photographs rotated into reading orientation. Page-edge cropping and perspective correction; approximate page-curvature correction on ordinary two-page spreads. Per-image white balance and tonal adjustment to reduce the yellow cast and improve contrast. Mild edge-preserving denoising and restrained sharpening. 121 native-resolution images exported (0.96 GiB combined). No generative AI, face replacement, inferred lettering, or invented missing detail was used. Source order retained. IDs are catalog numbers, not printed page numbers. Section titles are descriptive browsing labels, not a transcription of every caption. QUALITY REVIEW AND LIMITS All 121 original thumbnails and all 121 corrected previews were visually reviewed. Exceptions were corrected individually; exported files are checked for readability and completeness. The source photos include reflections, book curvature, faded printing, handwritten ink, lifted pages, and some page edges that extend outside the camera frame. These cannot all be removed faithfully. Small margins are retained to protect captions and page numbers. The method reduces curvature but does not reconstruct a perfectly flat original scan. Physical scuffs and torn areas on the covers remain. Some reflections obscure printed detail, including portions of image 12. No hidden text or facial detail was invented. Image 119 focuses on the handwritten right endpaper; image 118 preserves the wider spread. Image 120 retains its full close-up context, including fingers and overlapping material; extras contains the straightened card detail. For a future publication-quality archive, rephotograph reflective, obscured, out-of-frame or strongly curved areas with diffuse light and the pages held flatter. NAME INDEX & SEARCH 1,168 entries and 2,722 printed page references transcribed from index pages 177–183. All 21 source columns visually checked against the photographs; numeric continuation lines included. Printed anomalies are retained with review notes, available in people-index.json and INDEXING-REPORT.json. Parenthesized grades are not treated as page references. Glenn Pearson (grade 12) links to page 26 (senior portraits) and page 97 (Show Choir). Original index entry: page 181. Search supports first-last and last-first names, partial names, section titles, printed page numbers, and machine-read page text across all 121 images. Additional full-name text matches are shown separately from printed index references. Search does not use facial recognition or infer identities from unlabeled photographs. Handwriting, glare and imperfect OCR can cause omissions or false text matches; the printed index can itself contain mistakes. people-index.csv/json provides the complete portable name directory with page references and provenance. search-data.js contains the searchable image text. Printed page numbers are mapped to the physical left/right pages of each photograph; catalog image numbers remain separate. WEBSITE Purple and white reflect Lehi High School's school colors; the Pioneers emblem is the current official logo, not a claim about the exact logo used in 2002. Purple #614A90 was sampled from the current emblem rather than taken from a published brand specification.
